Hello My Name Is Whoopie

2011.9.11 Whoopieという名前でストリートカルチャーのアパレルを立ち上げることにしました。

長年温めた物やストリートで感じてきたこと、第２の故郷であるアメリカのカルチャーや映画など小さい頃に影響を受けた物をWhoopieという物で形にして行きたいと思います。

WhoopieとはアメリカはEAST CORSTで産まれたKidsが大好きな御菓子"Whoopie Pie”から由来します。Kidsが嬉しいときに上げる歓喜をWhoopieと言います。

このブランドネームは”いつまでもKidsの心を忘れないCoolな大人で行こう”という意味も込め付けました。

この時期に始めようと決めたのは友人達が始めたRELAXというブランドが私の背中を大きく押してくれたからです。

何事も好きなことを形にして行くことは凄く大切です、人生は１度きり何があるか分かりません。
